A new key biodiversity platform for cross sectoral collaboration
For its inaugural launch, World Biodiversity Summit will help define what world leaders and the private sector in biodiversity and climate action need to do in the medium and long term to achieve sustainable development and hinder further biodiversity loss, focusing on partnerships and investment mechanisms as levers of progress. World Biodiversity Summit is a platform for responding to accelerating biodiversity loss, by using the Paris Agreement as a framework to learn from, promoting relevant solutions, innovations, and leadership networks, strengthening nature restoration and conservation. Nature-based solutions will be highlighted, from specificecosystems to global possibilities.

Alison Taylor
Chief Sustainability Officer, ADM
Alison Taylor is chief sustainability officer for ADM. She oversees the company’s global sustainability strategy and works closely with the Sustainability and Corporate Responsibility Committee of ADM's Board of Directors. She oversees many facets of the company's progress toward achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals, including Zero Hunger and Climate Action. She guides implementation of the company’s Â
Respect for Human Rights policy, No-Deforestation policy, Strive 35 environmental stewardship program and ADM's philanthropic efforts through ADM Cares.Â

Prior to joining ADM, Taylor worked for Siemens Corporation, where she was Vice President and Chief Sustainability Officer of the Americas. Taylor currently serves on the boards of the Nicholas Institute at Duke University, E.O. Wilson Biodiversity Foundation, the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum in Chicago, and the Nature Conservancy-Illinois. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Duke University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Denver.  Â
