A new key biodiversity platform for cross sectoral collaboration
For its inaugural launch, World Biodiversity Summit will help define what world leaders and the private sector in biodiversity and climate action need to do in the medium and long term to achieve sustainable development and hinder further biodiversity loss, focusing on partnerships and investment mechanisms as levers of progress. World Biodiversity Summit is a platform for responding to accelerating biodiversity loss, by using the Paris Agreement as a framework to learn from, promoting relevant solutions, innovations, and leadership networks, strengthening nature restoration and conservation. Nature-based solutions will be highlighted, from specificecosystems to global possibilities.

World Biodiversity Summit - Part 1
Our first stop of the roadmap for World Biodiversity Summit 2022 took place in-person and digitally on 21 September during UNGA 77 and Climate Week NYC.
The Summit has pioneered the global public-private partnership bridging the climate and biodiversity agendas. Our shared mission was to address the urgent need for biodiversity restoration through nature-based solutions and nature-positive investments.
The agenda for the Summit was designed to help transform visions into resilient partnerships and action-oriented solutions and to showcase innovative technologies thereby attracting investment in these areas.
Our high-level speakers engaged in insightful keynotes, panel discussions, fireside chats and networking sessions with a focus on defining opportunities and commitments for supporting biodiversity through business, investment and cross-sector collaboration.
