A new key biodiversity platform for cross sectoral collaboration
For its inaugural launch, World Biodiversity Summit will help define what world leaders and the private sector in biodiversity and climate action need to do in the medium and long term to achieve sustainable development and hinder further biodiversity loss, focusing on partnerships and investment mechanisms as levers of progress. World Biodiversity Summit is a platform for responding to accelerating biodiversity loss, by using the Paris Agreement as a framework to learn from, promoting relevant solutions, innovations, and leadership networks, strengthening nature restoration and conservation. Nature-based solutions will be highlighted, from specificecosystems to global possibilities.

Head of Climate and Nature, Danske Bank Asset Management
Mads Steinmüller is the Head of Climate and Nature at Danske Bank Asset Management, where he leads initiatives to embed climate and nature considerations into the investment organization. He is the author of an award-winning white paper on biodiversity and has developed a biodiversity stewardship framework that helps guide investee companies through their nature transitions. With extensive experience in responsible investment, particularly in nature-related activities, Mads has been instrumental in driving Danske Bank’s efforts in this space. A frequent speaker at responsible investment events, he is committed to closing the biodiversity finance gap and creating investment solutions aligned with the Global Biodiversity Framework (GBF).
